April Fest

I celebrated my 30th birthday last Thursday. While I thought I'd have an extraordinary celebration (only because I greet a new decade of my life), twas pretty much simple. Cake and flowers from my team; no big parties and surprises. But I guess I already have everything I could ask for. The very birth of Akia is the one true gift that I'm most thankful for. 

BT also celebrated his birthday last Saturday. I bought him perfume (oh! and he gave me a really nice necklace — exchange gift in April?!?!). A cousin of mine came home and spent the day at our place. They brought lots of food so it was as if we really celebrated BT's birthday.  We then went to Podium to attend a symposium about traveling with your baby. The very first event that we attended for Akia. It was quite educational plus we brought home lots of freebies from Safety First. Hehe!

Akia's growing up so fast. I never imagined she'd be as chubby as she is. I get arm cramps whenever I carry her. Her body is now longer and she's very strong. She lifts her head 90 degrees. She attempts to grab things. We bought her a toy mobile that she absolutely loves. Soon she'll be in college. Mwaha!
