About me
Well she wants to be the queen
Then she thinks about her scene
Pulls her hair back as she screams
"I dont really wanna be the queen"

Meet My Friends
Seeing is believing
Shoots, Eats and leaves
September 24, 2007How do you start a busy Sunday? Wake up with your baby at 7:00am and share a smile with your hubby for witnessing the cutest thing stretch and yawn in the cutest way possible. Soon after obsessing over our little girl, we ate breakfast and hurried to prepare for church. We go to a quaint chapel inside VMMC. My dad introduced us to the place. There's not many who attend church there so it's really intimate. Plus it's really windy so less upset-time for Akia who breaks a sweat easily.
We then went straight to Akia and Igo's shoot at The Picture Company in Podium. How freaky is it going to be if Akia and Igo actually gets married and they'd have baby pictures of them together to show during the reception's video presentation? FREAKY! Akia was game and was smiling like a pro after a few minutes of getting used to the lights. Igo, on the other hand, was not having a good morning. So Akia and I spent some time in front of the camera. A little later and after much cooing, Igo was in the picture with us, of course with Mom Kat. Everybody say BANANAS!
After the shoot, we headed to Marikina's Our Lady of the Abandoned for Baby Emma's christening. She's my high school friend's first child. She was 2 months old and looked so fragile! Not long ago, Akia was as tiny but now she has grown to be a handful and in my case, an armful! We also met the newly wed Mitzi and Reg as well as Honey and Oliver at the party. Both girls I've known since high school and nowadays it's only during these occasions that we get to spend some time together. Rare yet precious moments.
After eating free lunch at the reception (and a hearty lunch at that — Cafe Kapitan rocks!), we went to Greenhills and Trinoma to buy pasalubong for my trip this coming Thursday. I'm excited about the trip yet I'm worried that I might miss Akia so much that I'd take the flight back home right after touch down. Hay…the pains of being a mommy.
