Hello 2008…

The first two months of the year have been a roller coaster ride. But here I am, March of 2008 and still breathing. From seriously taking actions of looking for another job — I decided to stick it out and finish my leadership training. From going insane preparing for Akia’s first debut — the party turned out a-ok.

Events/Milestones of Jan-Feb 2008 that I’d like to keep a record of:
1. Akia’s 2 ft and 3 in and 9 kilos as of 2/23
2. She took her first steps a day after her birthday — I win our bet and we’re going to HK! Or not.
3. My precious mac is in the hospital getting some apple care — and they won’t honor my extended warranty. F*ckers.
4. We brought Akia to Manila Zoo last 2/17 and it sucked. There were no giraffes!  But hey if you’re paying Php40 for entrance, you really don’t have a right to complain.  You had to pay another entrance fee to go inside the Nursery Zoo (or it’s named something else but I forgot).  She liked the anaconda though.
5. Akia went to her first wedding last 1/6 — Art’s at Fernwood Gardens.
6. We changed Akia’s milk last 1/11 when we were supposed to do so 6 months ago! On that day, she vomitted twice. I know, we’re awful parents.
7. I put this on my planner by I don’t know what for — Norman Rockwell is bleeding.  Any idea what this means?
8. Mamang came home last 1/2.
